Under the hood

Verse is one HTML page, a few hundred small skill modules and no framework. This page measures it while you read. Live numbers come from your own browser. Dated numbers come from public tools, and each one has a link so you can run it again.

Security headers, read live from the home page

Mozilla HTTP Observatory, asked now

The latest public scan of a-to-mind.com from Mozilla's API, fetched by your browser. Scan it again on MDN.

Verse, counted live

Read from the files the site serves, so these counts change when a deploy changes them.

Instant pages

The site sends a Speculation-Rules header. When you hold the pointer over a link, Chrome prerenders that page, so it opens instantly. A prerendered page counts its visit only once it opens. Pages fade into each other with cross-document view transitions, and the fade is off when you ask for reduced motion.

Before and after, measured

Lighthouse 13 (lab, mobile emulation with 4× CPU slowdown, best of one run), Mozilla Observatory and securityheaders.com, run against the live site on 2026-11-03 before this work and after it shipped. Scores change from run to run, so run them yourself: PageSpeed Insights, Observatory, securityheaders.com.
